Palin's $150k campaign wardrobe
Palin is getting sued for using campaign donations to buy her and her family $150k worth of clothes from high-end stores such as Sak's and Bloomingdales, but it looks like she might be the victim of campaign mismanagement here. By all accounts, she really is a down-to-earth frequenter of Target and the like. It was the campaign's personal shopper that bought virtually all of the clothes, and it was the campaign staff's incompetence for not burying it in ad budgets, as both Republican and Democratic campaigns usually do, according to Republicans who are furious over the matter.
